SamaCacao :: through me
Raised in the world but not 100% of it :) Part of a household where my grandmother was my sanctuary, where home remedies, seasonal foods and herbs were center stage in everyday life…youth with summers spent in wild forests running around naked, being part of nature and always close to the water energy, which brought with it femininity and cleansing.
As I grow older, sensitivity and intuition get forgotten, only to be recalled upon in ceremony, in ancient practices and studies, it all gets refined slowly once again; allowing me to trust in the information and feel of others' field as well as interpret the insight I receive ::my time in the ashram with Tantric studies and practices, energetic of Qi Gong, as well as blessings and challenging experiences with the Plant spirit guides, are some of the few practices that have shown me insight into living a life un-stuck.
When i do remember, i allow life to flow, focusing on trust. The journey into and of the self clearly defines who I am now, now, now, now (every moment). My guides have always stood by me, and that will never change as my journey continues, a life time of discovery.

a sacred drink to connect with the divine :: Used for ceremonies, rituals and offerings :: Mythological origin of creation of people :: Being shared amongst tribes, meetings and served to guests :: Currency, dried cacao beans where used as money, mostly in the Aztec empire :: Old texts and images on vases show that paste of roasted cacao was mixed with water, chili peppers and cornmeal to be poured between pots until covered with a thick foam. Cortés (who was mostly against native culture and customs) wrote: *”This drink is the healthiest thing, and the greatest sustenance of anything you could drink in the world, because he who drinks a cup of this liquid, no matter how far he walks, can go a whole day without eating anything else”.*
